Though I have been trying not to worry about whether we'll get this house, I haven't been doing a very good job. I know that it's in God's hands, but I hadn't given it completely to Him yet. However, yesterday morning, God asked me if I trust Him. My answer was yes. And then I instantly relaxed. While I still feel a few nervous jitters, I do trust God and know that He has our best interests at heart.
When I got home from work yesterday, there was a message from our realtor on our answering machine. She said that the bank needs to see our last two pay stubs, so we got that to her to send to the bank today. She also told us that ours is the better offer right now! I pray that it stays that way! The owner of the house will be back in the country (I don't know where she's been) on Sunday, and the agent is hoping that she'll make a decision on Sunday or Monday. Then the bank has to approve it as well. I'm hoping that we'll know something early next week!
